Born Barbarito Capote. DJ Dove has devoted most of his career fine tuning the sultry sounds heard throughout his ten years as a producer. His masterful skills as a DJ have allowed him to travel to many of the most romantic and exotic places on the planet. Each experience has contributed to his signature sound of rich blends of deep and dark soulful house music.

During the last few years, Dove has performed along-side some of dance industries most prestigious names including Erick Morillo, DJ Disciple, Roger Sanchez and Todd Terry. He has written and collaborated with renowned artists and producers such as Kim English, Angie Johnson, Sandy Rivera and Josh Wink. His most notable productions have included, Inaya Day's "I'm Touched" and his remix of the song "Missing You", from pop music sensation Kim English. Through his talent and hard work, Dove has earned enormous respect from his peers in the dance industry and has built a tremendous fan base worldwide.

Dove began playing records in 1990 with a mixture of sounds that included House, Reggae, Hip Hop and R&B. In the early nineties, he produced and hosted radio shows including his own "The DJ Dove Show", which debuted in 1991. He also co-hosted a weekly spot with longtime friend Disciple, "New York's Best Kept Secret" (WNYE-91.5FM). While Dove communicated via radio to dance music enthusiasts in New York's metropolitan area, he honed in on his skills as both a producer and DJ. By 1998, Dove's talents as a DJ had earned him invitations to play at some of the world's most prominent dance clubs including Privilege in Ibiza, Angels of Love in Italy and New York's own legendary Tunnel.

Dove continues to amaze audiendces throughout the dance scene and is extremely dedicated to his studio work. He has been working with brand new talent, writing and producing music with rich blends of pumping soulful house and melodic rhythms.

As 2003 begins, a very exciting year is on the horizon for Dove. His track, "Save Me" (featuring Inaya Day), will be released this coming May on Pound Boys' Look at You record label. He has also just signed "I'm Free (For Any Sensation)", which features one of his new artists Dorlis Morales to Stealth (UK). Dove's Scheduled to tour the US, Spain and India over the next few months. In New York, he can be heard at the highly publicized nightspot Pangaea.
